Waitara Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade

CMS completed the Mechanical Works with Whitaker Civil Engineering who completed the Civil works.
The purpose of the project was to convert the Waitara Waste Water Treatment Plant into a transfer station and conver the dosing tanks into temporary storage tanks with aerators and a wash down system.
CMS completed the following:
- Supply and install concrete line pipework for return line from tanks to wet well
- Install 450 OD HDPE Pipe
- Supply and install epoxy lined and coated pipe work for the attenuation tank pipe line
- Install new wet well pumps, new flow meters and valves
- Supply & install complete aeration systems for 2 tanks each with 4 quadrants
- Supply & install quadrant wash down systems with Becon cherry washdown nozzles
- Remove redundant lime dosing system and lime storage tanks.
= Outcome
Mechanical works were completed on time and commissioned. Plant started up with no issues and is fully operational.
